Final Field Trip Of The Year.

My son's final field trip of this school year was to The
Aquarium and The Rainforest Cafe at Arizona Mills.

My day started out a little crazy. They twins were not wanting to get dressed or let me get dressed for the day. My morning  home was full of "Mommy get me juice. Mommy I need chocolate milk. Mommy I don't like to ware this dress. Mommy why I can't I ware a sweater?" All I wanted to do was dress in peace and get on my way.

At 8:30am I finally headed out the door. As I started my van I noticed the wonderful hubby left me completely on 'E'. You can imagine my frustration He was the last to drive my van and he even commented on how he needs to bring into his work because I shouldn't be using as much gas as I am. After a short, not so nice phone call, to the hubby I zipped down the freeway and dropped the twins of at my mothers house and headed to Fuzzy's school, with 15min on the clock.

I make it to the school at 9:06 we were supposed to leave at 9:15. I knocked on the Fuzzy's class window, no answer. At this point I text his teacher "Did you all leave already?" she answers me "Yes. Just did." Darn it, now that I won't be ridding on the bus I have to get gas. Isn't it always like that? Every time you need to be some place or your late, which often times its both for me, you need gas?

I finally get to the mall and everyone is still standing outside waiting to go in. I MADE IT!!!
Its such a great feeling, as some of you may know every Thursday I go and volunteer at the school all day. So these kiddos know me well. Right as I walk up all the 1st and 2nd graders turn and scream "MRS. ANGI!!!" and run over and hug attack me. Its so wonderful to know your important even if its to 30 1st and 2nd graders. I like it better actually because they are so young and pure of heart, its not a fake enjoyment they give you, they truly love having you around.
I get my list for my group of kiddos to watch for the day, only three so it was not insane. I have to brag a moment here, before we went in all the kiddos played this game. You had to get the Sea Turtle to a full life cycle, my son and his team mates turtle was the one that lived to be full grown. Proud mama here. *giggles* I stood and said "ahem, that's my boy. best sea turtle out there." I got a few chuckles for some of the other parents and the teacher.

Once we go inside it was really neat. The kids were all in awe as was I for that fact.

Some Star fishy fun

In this room the fish's swam all around you. It was kinda like being in one of those rooms where they show you what outer space looks like. Then there was this bubble where the kids could stick their heads in.

Now we walk into this other room and it had an octopus as the last fish for that area. The fist picture is the octopus with no flash on clearly you can not seem him. Now the second one you can see him. I turned on the flash and took a photo. Immediately after doing so, with 5-8 kids  right by me, Fuzzy says "Mooom! What you can't read? It says NO FLASH PHOTOS RIGHT HERE!" Shows  you how well I pay attention...

My little dude is such a Character. He is the one with the  Peace fingers.

I told them if they didn't stop yelling I was going to feed them to the sharks. Then we found this bad boy.

The "Finding Nemo" bubble

Jelly Fish because I like them.

This room was awesome and kinda creepy all at once. The floor was a type of plexi-glass and the walls and roof were really super thick glass. In the tank all around you were the sharks, sting rays, and various other fish's.

My son thinks she has cooties... He's at that age now I guess. Her mom and I tried to get him to take a picture with her 4 times before we finally gave in and said "Screw it"

So that was our final trip of the year. Thanks for stopping by and having a looksie.
xoxo

Introduction

I never wrote a blog out introducing myself and my crazy family.
So here goes...

My name is Angela (although I go by Angi- yes there is no "e") I have three crazy off the wall kids. Eight year old boy whom we shall call Fuzzy, and four year old twins that will known as Monkey and Princess. Then there is my lovely often mentally lost hubby we call him Donkey at home but I wont do that to him here.

A little back story about myself.

I was adopted on my eighth birthday but in the system since I was about 3 years of age. My birth mother was 16 when she had me and my birth father was about 20. I got taken away from them by the state because my birth mother decided that keeping up with her party habits would be way cooler than taking care of a kid, gosh look at me trying to ruin her life and stuff. As for the birth father he was in prison at the time of my birth for armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, and grand theft auto. He later was sentenced to a longer sentence for escaping while on work release and kidnap my birth mother and I when I was just a few months old. I do not know where they are now and really have not tried looking for either of them, although I have flirted with the idea. I do have at least one brother but again I don't know him.

In high school I did tons of things. Color guard, acting, cheer, out cast, you name it I did it! I also was a bit of trouble maker. When I made my awesome decision to hang out with the bad crowd I got sent to a school two towns over my sophomore year of high school, and that's where I met my hubby. We didn't start dating at first. He was in the drug scene and I was still in cheer at that time. We did flirt an awful lot. We actually started dating my senior year when our paths crossed again. He had dropped out of school the first quarter of our junior year. I hadn't seen or talked to him in awhile. But that would all change when I moved schools for my senior year. I was 4 months away from graduation leaving school one day and someone honked at me. Would you guess the entire time I was going to school there he was a mechanic right across the parking?! So it began we were not going to let this opportunity pass us up this time.

Skip ahead a year and Fuzzy was born. My crazy dare devil of a child. I swear this boy is going to give me an aneurysm one day. I actually am surprised he hasn't broke and limbs yet. Not that I want him too, he is just that crazy. One day he actually came inside, 5 1/2 at the time mind you, and asked if he could ride his bike down the slide on the play set into our baby pool. At least he asked first I guess. Needles to say that was a no go by this mama. He also has my sarcasm. Poor hubby. He gets it from everyone. One day we went to visit my parents in TX, when they were living there, I was 4 moths pregnant with Fuzzy and Hubby says to my dad "I don't know how this happened" without even thinking about it my father says "Well when two people have sexual intercourse." My jaw dropped and I had to leave 'cause I knew my dad was just being a smart ass, and a good one that, but hubby had no clue. Thought my dad was angry at him for impregnating his 17 year old daughter, which truth be told he was. But not at that point things had cooled off.

The year 2008 comes around. The twins come. Honesty card here people, Hubby and I really did not want anymore kids, like ever. Once I thought I was pregnant and got myself an appointment low and behold Doctor came in and says "Yep your are indeed pregnant and with twins, lucky you!" Yeah right doc lucky me... But I am, and so very blessed. I almost didn't get to have them. High risk pregnancy had them exactly 2 months early and Princess was not breathing when they pulled her out. Longest 2 minuets of my entire life! I would not trade these suckers in for anything. I love living in the Nutt House (Our last name is McNutt thus is how I came up with my blogger name). Monkey is a sweet mamas boy, I can truthfully I enjoy his clinginess oh so much. My little Princess. Oh that name says it all. I really kick myself for doing that, she owns that like no other. She is a little meanie as well. Any chance she gets she will kick, hit, take something for someone, then she gets all cute and tries to put the blame someplace else.  She is going to be hell on wheels I tell ya.

Well that is a little history lesson on me and my wonderful family Thanks for reading.
xoxo

This weeks theme:  Vacation

1.  Do you take family vacations?

We try to do one major one (out of state) once a year. In state we go about every three months.

2.  Did you take family vacations as a kid?  If so, what is the one you remember the most?

We went to California a lot, my mom has family all over there. I did go with my church to Mexico to help re build a church.

3.  What is your dream vacation, as a family, a couple or even alone?

I really want to go to Italy (family), the hubby and I are Italian. I also would love to go to Hawaii (just as a couple).

4.  What is your preferred method of traveling? Ex. flying, driving, taking a train, a cruise?

I like to drive, but if its really far then I would prefer to fly. No cruise ever for this chick!

5.  Have you already made vacations planned for this summer, or are you planning a "staycation"?
No haven't got anything planned as of yet. I want to go to Colorado, I was born there and wanted to go for a visit as I have not been there since I was 8. Nothing is set in stone though.

This is a blog hop, now its your turn.
